Forma works with and from her hands. The forms that Suzie Lapierre d’Argy produces bear the tender trace of this.

Her pieces are both the strength and evidence of prehistoric artifacts and the fragility of a freehand drawing with eyes closed. As if she made vases and cups from the idea we have of them and without having ever seen them.

At the same time, shaky and solid, simplistic and sought after, unique in series, functional and dysfunctional… all of this is harmoniously linked without excluding each other, like the clays that she mixes with them or the glazes that she applies to them.
